A driver for XPO was named the grand champions of the New Jersey Motor Truck Association’s recent Truck Driving Championships.
XPO’s Wilbert Vano won the competition’s top award as well as the three-axel class and the written exam class.
Dwayne Stephenson, who drives for FedEx Express, was named rookie of the year.

Pre-Trip Inspection Winner: Carlos Chavarriaga – United Parcel Service
Road Course Winner: Eddie Conrad – FedEx Express
Large Team Champions: United Parcel Service
Small Team Champions: FedEx Express
The class winners qualify to compete inthe American Trucking Associations’ National Truck Driving Competition, which will be held Aug. 21-24 in Indianapolis.
