Huge news for the Wichita Falls economy as our Mayor and Chamber announce that an Amazon Last Mile Delivery will begin construction very soon. According to KAUZ, a road near Production Boulevard will need to be completed and then construction can begin on the property where the announcement was made yesterday.

The Last Mile Delivery warehouses are to help ease the delivery process for Amazon, without being forced to use a third party distribution center.

Of course with a new facility like this opening, that means new jobs will be available in town. This new facility is set to bring over 100 jobs into it. The project is supposed to be completed by the end of December. We will wait and see when they announce an official opening date.
