Great Dane appoints France as executive VP, CHRO
Great Dane welcomed Robert France as its new executive vice-president and chief human resources officer (CHRO).
He brings more than 30 years of human resources leadership experience — including 23 years with Corning — where he served as senior vice-president and CHRO. During his tenure, he oversaw a global workforce spanning 44 countries and more than 70 manufacturing plants, helping the company grow from 25,000 to 63,000 employees — the fastest expansion in Corning’s 170-year history, according to a news release.

France’s career also includes human resources leadership roles at Appleton Papers, Harley-Davidson, Pepsi-Cola, and Smithfield Foods.
“He’s a passionate and authentic leader, and I’m excited about the new dimension he brings to Great Dane,” said Rick Mullininx, Great Dane president and chief operating officer, in a release. “We want to continue to attract and retain the best and brightest talent, and Rob will help build a strategy that meets the needs of our growing business while supporting the family culture.”
KAG Canada welcomes Goyette as business development manager
Geoff Goyette joined KAG Canada as its new business development manager for Eastern Canada. Operating out of the company’s terminal in Ottawa, Ont., Goyette will focus on driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction, the company said in a release.

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, collaborating with department leaders to optimize resources, mentoring company leaders in sales and business development, and partnering with the marketing team to promote new business opportunities.
With 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, his career includes leadership roles such as owner and president, vice-president of operations, and director of logistics. KAG Canada says he played a key role in merging two transportation companies and has held a valid A/Z driving permit since 2003.
Atlas World Group International promotes Lewis
Atlas World Group International, a global transportation and relocation service headquartered in Evansville, Ind., has announced the promotion of Christy Lewis to vice-president and general manager.

Lewis joined the company in July 2019 as director of commercial operations, bringing more than 20 years of managerial and operational expertise. During her tenure, she has led company strategy and aligned international partnerships.
“Christy brings many years of leadership experience to the general manager role, both from her prior positions outside of Atlas and her five and a half years overseeing the Commercial Operations Group here in Evansville,” said Jack Griffin, chairman and CEO of Atlas World Group. “Under Christy’s continued direction and guidance in her new role as vice-president, we are confident that this organization will continue to thrive and expand.”
