The world of truck inspections is likely to change greatly over the coming years. Federal trucking regulators and commercial vehicle enforcement agencies are pushing for wireless roadside inspections, including a mandate that motor carriers equip their trucks with devices that would transmit the identity and condition of trucks and drivers to roadside enforcement. Learn how this could affect your motor carrier operation, what information you and your drivers may be required to transmit to inspectors, and what it means for the development of autonomous trucks.
At the end of this webinar, you will understand how electronic truck inspections could work and privacy concerns that are being raised about the use of this technology. This will give you and your business these great takeaways:
- How truck inspections could change in the future
- Why electronic truck inspections are being considered
- What this means when it comes to autonomous trucks
- How data from electronic truck inspections could be used
This webinar is for managers in trucking concerned about keeping their fleet running as safe and efficient as possible while keeping their propriety information private.
