This week, Love’s Travel Stops announced the opening of a new truck stop with dozens of truck parking spaces in Nevada County, Arkansas.
On Thursday, Love’s announced the opening of a new truck stop in Prescott, Arkansas, off of I-30 at 2005 Highway 19 North.
This is the second Love’s location in Prescott. The other store is also located off I-30 at 116 Ron Harrod Road.
The new Prescott store will feature Love’s fourth truck wash, starting on October 2. Love’s began adding truck wash services to stores over the summer, with locations in Harrisonville, Missouri, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Hazen, Arkansas. Love’s plans to open truck washes in Gary, Indiana, Hampshire, Illinois, Columbia, Tennessee, and Boyce, Louisiana, soon.
Other amenities at the new Prescott truck stop include:
- More than 13,000 square feet
- Bojangles restaurant (opening September 25)
- 84 truck parking spaces
- Speedco (opening October 20)
- Eight diesel bays
- Seven showers
- Laundry facilities
- CAT scale
“We’re excited to open our second location in Prescott and add more amenities to help get customers back on the road quickly,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s. “This location will have ample parking, a Speedco and truck wash for professional drivers and all the amenities customers enjoy like fresh food, clean restrooms and friendly service.”
In April 2023, Love’s announced plans to open a total of 25 new stores this year. The company also announced a new Strategic Remodel Initiative, involving spending $1 billion to upgrade 200 stores over the next five years. The amount spent on upgrades to each store will range from $2 million to $7 million, and the remodeled stores will look more modern and feature more open-concept floor plans, the company says.
