Fleet Advantage has a new data tool to help private fleets benchmark safety efforts.
Fleet Advantage announced a new data resource to help private fleets and other trucking operations to prioritize a culture of safety.
Fleet Advantage offers specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services, and life cycle cost management.
Its new Truck Reliability and Usage Safety Tracker (TRUST) is a safety index that aims to provide benchmarks that address safety within the private fleet sector. Private-fleet-specific KPIs are designed to help organizations improve areas of specific operations and elevate their overall CSA (Compliance, Safety, Accountability) scores.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, fatalities from fatal large truck crashes continue to rise. However, according to TRUST, the Unsafe Driving Score average for the top private fleets is 11.5, which is a positive.
TRUST’s Benchmarking and Safety Insights
TRUST by Fleet Advantage provides comprehensive benchmarks and insights into safety performance, enabling fleets to identify and address safety issues proactively.
TRUST will provide insights into areas including:
- Current and predictive CSA scores
- Inspections
- Violations details including Hours of Service and Vehicle Maintenance
- Crash Indicator Scoring
- Peer group analysis
- Driver fitness
- Unsafe driving trends
In addition to private fleets, the TRUST report will be available for organizations operating in specific industry verticals and for-hire carriers. Custom reporting can be made available based on each organization’s needs.
“At Fleet Advantage, we understand that having the right mix of fleet safety data and performance benchmarks is important for improving the culture of safety for private fleets,” said Katerina Jones, Chief Marketing Officer of Fleet Advantage.
“By incorporating safety into the total cost of ownership and life cycle cost management, we empower organizations to build and protect a culture where safety is prioritized in every part of their operations, ultimately leading to safer roads, drivers, and more efficient fleets.”
