The Alberta Motor Transport Association has partnered with Samsara to support road safety and regulatory compliance in the commercial transportation industry through a new scholarship initiative.
As part of the partnership, Samsara is funding four scholarships that will cover the cost of the eight required courses in AMTA’s Certified Transportation Safety Professional (CTSP) designation program, according to a news release.
The scholarships are open to safety and compliance professionals who are employed by an AMTA carrier, subsidiary, or associate member company. Applicants must not be currently enrolled in — or actively working toward — an AMTA designation program and must meet the CTSP program’s three-year industry experience requirement. Full completion of the program’s application process is also required.

AMTA’s education team will review and vet all applications. With only four scholarships available, the first 25 complete applications that meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.
The application deadline is Feb. 23. Scholarship recipients will be announced April 23 during AMTA’s annual awards gala. For details click here.
