Ziglar’s 2007 Peterbilt 379 takes home SuperRigs Best of Show awards

A major truck show had a repeat winner fot iyts best of show award recently.

Kenny Ziglar II of Rawlins, Wyoming., captured Best of Show honors for the second consecutive year with his 2007 Peterbilt 379, nicknamed “Scrapin By,” at the 44th Annual Shell Rotella^® SuperRigs^® competition held June 25-27 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. He was awarded $10,000 from Shell Rotella. In addition, the truck won second place in the Best Lights category.

Shell RotellaThe Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition bills ityself as the premier truck beauty contest for actively working trucks. Owner-operators from across the United States and Canada compete for more than $25,000 in cash and prizes. All winners also received MyMilesMatter reward miles from the Shell Rotella loyalty program. Twelve drivers were selected to have their trucks featured in the 2027 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.

Justin Speece won the People’s Choice Award for his 2003 Peterbilt. The winner was selected virtually, with voting taking place online. For every People’s Choice vote cast this year, Shell Rotella proudly donated $10 to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.

• 1st Place Tractor Division: Brad Harminson, 2020 Peterbilt, $1,500 from Shell Rotella

• 1st Place Tractor/Trailer Division: Kaleb Hammett, 2015 Peterbilt, $1,500 from Shell Rotella

• 1st Place Specialized Working Truck: Cody Warner, 2022 Peterbilt, $1,500 from Shell Rotella

• 1st Place Best Lights: Joshua Teel,  2001 Peterbilt, $250 from Shell Rotella

• Best Engine: David Calabrese, 2022 Peterbilt

• Best Chrome: Kaleb Hammett, 2015 Peterbilt

• Best Theme: Jeremy Houghtailing, 2024 Kenworth

• Best Interior: David Calabrese, 2022 Peterbilt

• People’s Choice: Justin Speece, 2003 Peterbilt, $250 from Shell Rotella
