The crash occurred on Viola Place, near the airport’s terminal in an industrial precinct.
Emergency crews found the 48-year-old Kippa Ring motorcycle rider dead when they arrived at the scene.
Police have release footage showing the white truck driving away after officers attempted to stop the driver.
Police are appealing for the public to help identify the truck so that they can talk to the driver, who may be able to help with their investigation.
‘We’re not sure the driver realised he struck the motorcyclist, (so) we are trying to find the driver,’ a police spokesperson said.
