It’s a life that Steve Tol worked for decades to get — a beautiful house, multiple vehicles and a lucrative business.
But now he’s walking away from it and giving someone else the chance to enjoy his enviable life.

Tol, 61, owns a four-bedroom home in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast. It has a pool table room, outdoor bar and a gym room.
He also owns a trucking business that he claims makes up to $500,000 in yearly profit. And he has a near-new electric vehicle, a Mazda BT-50 Ute and a caravan.
All that — plus a few extras — for a cool $2.2 million. He has posted an ad for the “great life” on Facebook Marketplace.
“It’s a legitimate sale — no gimmicks, no hidden catches,” Tol told 7NEWS.com.au.
“If someone had the money, they’d never regret it … It’s not a bad life.”
If it’s such a good life, why is Tol giving it up?
He, along with his partner, wants to “enjoy my life while I can”, with plans to “travel the world” for the next 10 years.
“Basically, we’re going to sell regardless,” he said.
“Usually, you get the removalists in and you go to the next house. We’re not going to the next house.
“They (the buyers) can enjoy everything I’ve built up and we could enjoy the next part of our life.
“They’d walk in with their clothes and we’d walk out with our clothes.”
He says if he can’t sell everything as a package deal, he will do it the “old-fashioned” way and put everything on the market individually.
Otherwise, “it’d be good if someone came along and just bought the house and the business and everything”, he said.
It’s a novel idea, and one that could take off, according to Tol.
“A lot of people are saying it could change real estate selling: People selling everything and moving on,” he said.
