FUNDRAISING EVENT: The Little Black Cat Collective Pet Food Pantry will host a fundraising event 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wickyards, 711 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Featured will be tarot card readers, basket raffle, kids costume contest, vendors and a food truck. This fundraising event will help animals throughout Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
WALKING CLASS: Mercy Health’s Stepping Out program and the Healthy Community Partnership’s pedestrian safety and education coordinator, Danny Campbell, invite the community to a new free walking class at Packard Park in Warren.
The Autumn Walking Class at Packard Park will be 5 to 6 p.m. every Monday. The class will provide an opportunity for community members to participate in a healthy, outdoor group exercise activity and explore a beautiful local park.
The Autumn Walking class will meet at the goose pond next to the baseball field in Packard every Monday, weather permitting, and will continue until the weather becomes too cold to walk.
Stepping Out offers many free walking classes, but the Autumn Walking Class in Packard Park is the first evening class and walk located in Warren.
