Mas, who had migrated to the United States 20 years ago, was remembered by his family following the tragic accident.His daughter, Yeisel Mas Dominguez, speaking from Cuba, expressed shock upon learning about her father’s death. “I was in shock, I did not believe it, I said it was a lie, I fainted, my blood pressure went up. I will never forget that day; I have it recorded in my mind,” she said.Dominguez remembered her father as a person who was kind and had a great sense of humor, often making her laugh during their conversations.His daughter described him as a loving father, son, uncle, and friend and emphasized how much he was loved by his family.The aftermath of the crash has affected families in both the U.S. and Cuba.
