If your trucking travels take you across Tennessee on Interstate 65, you’ll soon have a new place to rest, refuel and a whole lot more.

Located at Exit 22 of I-65 in Cornersville, Tennessee, Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop is about an hour south of Nashville and an hour northwest of Huntsville, Alabama.
According to a statement from the new travel stop, “… is built on the belief that every traveler deserves comfort, good food, and a genuine welcome.”
Meant to be a gathering place for both travelers and the local community, the travel stop is the first of many planned locations. It was born from the partnership between Parton, her manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, who has owned and operated the Tennessean Travel Stop since 2017. Inspired by Dolly’s lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the hills of East Tennessee to decades spent touring the world by bus, the venture reimagines what a roadside stop can be, according to developers.
Guests will find barbecue offerings at the stop’s DLY BBQ, a cup of Dolly’s Cup of Ambition Coffee, and a full-service sit-down restaurant.
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop will also feature an original mural commissioned as a permanent love letter to Cornersville, Tennessee. A tour bus inspired by the one Parton has traveled in for years will also be on-site. There is also a Doggy Parton dog park.
The grand opening event will be held June 24, with more details to be announced. A week-long July Fourth celebration is also planned.
Parton is an iconic American singer-songwriter, actress, and philanthropist known for her work in country and pop music. With a career spanning over six decades, Parton has achieved over 100 million in global record sales, written over 3,000 songs, and claimed a record-tying 25 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country charts.
She co-owns the Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and her Dollywood Foundation operates Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This program has distributed nearly 200 million free books to children from birth to age five across the globe.
