Hundreds of historic trucks from across North America will roll into Springfield, Missouri next week as the American Truck Historical Society hosts its 2026 National Convention and Truck Show at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
The weeklong event begins June 2 as trucks arrive and registration opens on-site. The main show dates are June 4-6 and will feature a display of restored classics, rare working rigs along with vendor exhibits, educational sessions, and family-friendly activities.
“Each truck on display has its own story, history, and craftsmanship,” said ATHS Convention Committee Chair Peter Wild, “The convention provides a welcoming space for all trucking enthusiasts to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and share the passion for trucking history during the show and at special events throughout the week. And it’s not too late to display a truck, just show up at the fairgrounds during the show hours and we can get you registered onsite.”
Special events include:
- Thursday-Ice Cream Social, 7-9 p.m.
- Thursday-Fan-favorite Light Show, 9 p.m.
- ATHS Awards Banquet, Friday, 6 p.m.
- A special highlight this year includes a group of enthusiasts from Mexico bringing approximately 50 trucks to the show.
