Court records show Raytown South High School principal facing Illinois fraud charge

TWO PEOPLE WERE KILLED, NINE OTHERS INJURED IN THAT SHOOTING THAT HAPPENED ON THE IVY LEAGUE CAMPUS SATURDAY. BROWN IS NOW CANCELING ALL REMAINING CLASSES AND EXAMS FOR THE SEMESTER. The head principal at Raytown South High School is facing extradition to Illinois to answer a criminal charge, KMBC 9 Investigates has learned.A complaint filed in Johnson County, Kansas, on Dec. 1st states that John Williams is a fugitive on a warrant from Monroe County, Illinois, south of St. Louis, where he is charged with Fraud – Theft by Deception. He has posted a $10,000 surety bond.Williams appeared before a judge on Dec. 11 in Johnson County to hear about the potential extradition, according to court records. His next court date is scheduled for March 11, 2026.KMBC 9 Investigates is working to find out more details about the charge, as court records from Monroe County, Illinois, were not immediately available online. The complaint from Johnson County does not detail the allegations that led to the charge.
