The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is now accepting nominations for its 2025 TCA Professional Drivers of the Year awards that will celebrate five professional drivers with a $20,000 prize each. Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 6, 2024.
The award program honors drivers who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety, leadership both on and off the road, and contributions to their company’s or the industry’s success, TCA said in a release. To be eligible, nominees must be employed by a TCA carrier member.

“This awards program plays a vital role in honoring the dedication and hard work of exceptional truck drivers. Recognizing their contributions not only boosts morale within the industry but also highlights the critical role they play in our economy and communities,” said TCA vice-president Zander Gambill.
Jon Archard, vice-president of fleet sales at Love’s Travel Stops, added, “These underappreciated heroes impact each and every one of us as they perform one of our country’s most demanding and important jobs. We are honored to recognize those drivers who set the highest standard for the industry mile after mile.”
José Samperio, vice-president and general manager of Cummins’ North American on-highway business, also underscored the importance of the program. “Cummins is honored to support the TCA Professional Driver of the Year program that rewards drivers who go above and beyond to make a positive difference.”
Nominees can be submitted through Dec. 6 at TCA’s website. Winners will be celebrated during TCA’s annual convention in Phoenix, Ariz., on March 15-18, 2025.
