BELOVED TikTok sensation Calla Johnson, who was popular for her content as a flatbed truck driver, has died at age 34.
Johnson, who goes by The Traveling Mermaid on TikTok, died on March 15, her sister revealed.
Victoria Johnson, the TikToker’s sister, said the family is still unaware of what led to her sibling’s death.
“We know nothing at the moment,” Victoria said in a gut-wrenching Facebook post.
“Please be patient as we have to be. Please stop asking. It is so heartbreaking what happened and if I had answers I would share.
“Thank you all for understanding. Rest in sweet Peace my beautiful Calla Johnson.”

“Sisters are forever,” Victoria commented with a red heart emoji in a separate post, where she poses for a picture with her two sisters.
A funeral service for Johnson will be held in Texas on March 30.
Johnson was popular on TikTok as being a flatbed woman truck driver.
Her account, The Traveling Mermaid, had nearly 30,000 followers.
Johnson’s humorous videos often showed her on duty at her blue-collar trucker job, picking up a load of steel or plywood and sharing her scenic view from the driver seat of her Freightliner.
She would travel coast to coast, delivering cargo across the nation.
In one of her TikTok videos last summer, Johnson celebrated after she hit 100,000 miles on her tractor.
“So, I just got done driving for the day, but I hit a huge accomplishment today, let me show you,” Johnson says as she shifts the camera to her Freightliner’s dashboard.
“I hit 100,000 miles,” she said excitingly, explaining how she received the truck from her company seven months prior with zero miles on it.
“So that’s all me. Anyways, I was just really excited thought I’d share.”
