CASPER, Wyo. — An attempt by Glenrock police to stop a vehicle driving erratically led to a multi-agency pursuit that ended in Natrona County on Tuesday evening.
According to a release from the Glenrock Police Department, officers received reports of a blue Ford F-350 driving into oncoming lanes and leaving the road at varying speeds. The driver attempted to elude officers as they approached with lights, and continued driving toward Casper on Highway 20/26.
Officers from nearby agencies laid down spike strips. According to a video shot by witnesses at the scene, the driver continued on disabled tires after turning on Cole Creek Road.
At some point the driver lost control of the vehicle, which was severely damaged in the process.
Officers on scene said an ambulance was called and gave clearance for the suspect to be arrested. The person is now in custody, according to the Glenrock release.
No injuries were reported, and the event is currently under investigation.
