A man who Madison County prosecutors said brought illegal drugs into Jackson while driving a tractor-trailer is going to prison for 25 years.Johnnie Earl Bradley, 41, pleaded guilty this week to possession with the intent to sell cocaine, according to Bubba Bramlett, district attorney for Madison and Rankin counties.Investigators determined that Bradley was bringing the drugs into Jackson on Interstate 55 in the truck and then putting them in a bookbag and driving them in a car into Madison County. A deputy arrested Bradley in December 2021 on Interstate 55 heading into Canton. A K-9 unit alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics, which turned out to be almost 30 grams of cocaine, 2.52 grams of methamphetamine and 47.96 grams of Tetrahydrocannabinol. Bramlett said Bradley had been previously convicted in Rankin County of possession of cocaine.
