BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A tractor-trailer driver delivering to the Walmart Distribution Center in Bedford was arrested after a manager had to call police.
Devinder Jeet, 42, of Noblesville, Indiana, was taken into custody around 10:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, after a manager at the Walmart Distribution Center called police and said he smelled alcohol and that Jeet wasn’t making any sense.
According to the probable cause affidavit, troopers found Jeet near a loading dock at the center. They said the keys were in the truck’s ignition, but he was passed out in the sleeping area and an open can of Four Loko was seen next to the bed.
Troopers said that Jeet claimed he only had one Four Loko, but also seemed confused as to how he got so drunk and was slurring his words and talking slowly. It was noted that Jeet also tried to give police multiple different debit cards before finally handing over his driver’s license.
When doing standard field sobriety tests, troopers said that Jeet showed numerous signs of impairment, and his eyes were red and glassy.
Jeet was taken to UPMC Bedford for a blood draw. When taken back to PSP barracks, troopers said they discovered he had multiple DUI instances in Ohio and one out of Indianapolis. State Police noted that while Jeet was delivering to Walmart, his tractor-trailer was from “BDS Logistics LLC.”

Jeet was placed in Bedford County Prison with bail set at $25,000.
