Footage of a driver walking around his car smashed to pieces on the highway is the most amazing thing you’ll see today. His Subaru was trapped under the wheels of a truck and dragged for over 400 feet along the highway near Sacramento.

He failed to notice the crash and kept driving until the car escaped the entrapment of the wheel, but the bar at the back of the trailer hit the back of the Subaru and dragged it some more.
A video uploaded on social media shows the moments right after the incident. The driver got out of the wreck and walked around his car to evaluate the damage. His Subaru BRZ is a pile of metal and glass with the front end simply disintegrated. The cabin is opened like a can, with all the passenger’s side torn apart.
That is how the driver must have gotten out of the car since the door on his side is still closed, probably unable to open due to the deformation of the safety cell. A safety cell that kept him alive through the horror.
The driver is 17-year-old Benjamin. He has recently set up a GoFundMe campaign for his medical bills and other expenses. That is where he tells the story of his crash. He was returning home to Sacramento from Los Angeles after a trip he took in search of parts for his car when the crash happened.
In the video making the rounds on social media, he is indeed seen walking around his car and apparently being unharmed. But he is wearing a neck brace because he has pinched nerves in his back, some cracked ribs, a punctured lung, and a concussion after his head hit the windshield.
He also sustained a hand and shoulder injury. He is currently undergoing recovery and is sharing footage of his car before the crash.
Another Subaru driver crashed with a snowplow and is lucky to be alive
Back in January, we reported about a crash that took place on a road near Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks Mountains during heavy snowfall.
A video uploaded on X by the New York State Department of Transportation showed the driver of a Subaru WRX accelerating in an attempt to overtake a track and colliding with a snowplow.
The Subaru split in two, but fortunately, the Subaru WRX driver walked away unharmed. Nobody sustained injuries in the crash that turned the car into a pile of crumpled metal and shattered glass.
