TRAIL CLOSURE
Beginning Monday, Oct. 9, approximately one mile of the Foothills Trail will close between Military Road and 136th Street trail crossings. Both trail crossings will be undergoing much-needed ADA accessibility improvements to enhance access to the trail for more of our friends and neighbors! The project is expected to take up to three weeks. There will be no detour available during the closure. Below is a map of the current and upcoming impacts along the Foothills Trail.
This year, the Foothills Trail is undergoing multiple improvement projects to help enhance the trail for users as well as comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. These projects will temporarily close sections of the Foothills Trail or trailhead amenities. To learn more, visit PierceCountyWA.gov/Foothills.
