Suicide: Truck Driver Harjinder Singh Commits Suicide Alleging Harassment by Ex-Employer | Gurgaon News

Gurgaon: A truck owner was booked on Thursday after one of his former employees, a truck driver, died by suicide. Police have sent his body for autopsy. In a voice message to his family before taking his life, the driver claimed his former employer hadn’t paid him two months’ salary and alleged repeated harassment. The deceased, Harjinder Singh (40), was a truck driver from Gandhi Nagar. On March 12, he hung himself at night using a cable. His wife filed a police complaint against his former employer, RK Tuteja. Singh used to work for him but quit a year ago to work at a blood bank, which he left a few months ago, said SI Rajesh Kumar, Pataudi Chowk. His family claims Tuteja owed him Rs. 30,000 in salary. A case has been registered against Tuteja under IPC Section 306 (abetment of suicide). tnn
