A semi-truck crash in Bullitt County caused a significant traffic jam on Interstate 65 South Saturday morning.Sometime around 8 a.m., the semi-truck crashed off of I-65 near the bridge that spans the Salt River in Bullitt County. That’s between the two exits for Shepherdsville.The semi came to rest below the bridge, according to the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Department.Traffic was backed up for miles with the right shoulder and right two lanes blocked at the location of the crash, according to TRIMARC.The semi has since been removed from the area, but the sheriff’s department said that crews are still on the scene clearing the area. The sheriff’s department could not give any information about how the crash happened, and said that the truck driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.The resulting traffic jam lasted throughout most of Saturday before I-65 was finally cleared.
