The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) has opened its 10th annual Canadian Private Fleet benchmarking survey to fleets based in Canada, regardless of PMTC membership.
“We are once again partnering with the National Private Truck Council for the 2026 survey,” PMTC president Mike Millian said in a news release. “The NPTC has been producing a private fleet benchmark survey in the U.S. annually since 2005, and by partnering with them again, the PMTC feels it is guaranteeing another quality and highly respected report for our members.”
A PMTC benchmarking committee composed of Canadian fleet operators reviews and updates the survey annually to ensure it reflects current market conditions.

Survey participation is open to all private fleets with a base of operations in Canada. The results will be provided at no cost to PMTC members, and a discounted membership fee is available for the first 25 fleets that complete the survey.
The full report is expected to be released in July, with a preview scheduled for PMTC’s annual conference, taking place June 16–17 in Niagara Falls, Ont. Click here to access the survey.
