Florida Highway Patrol troopers were investigating a fatal motorcycle-involved crash in Marion County Saturday morning.According to an FHP report, the crash happened at 10 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of SW 60th Avenue and SW 66th Street. Troopers said a pickup truck taking a left turn from northbound SW 60th Avenue onto westbound SW 66th Street pulled in front of a motorcycle traveling south on SW 60th Avenue. The motorcycle crashed into the right front passenger door of the pickup truck at the intersection.The 25-year-old Ocala man driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.The pickup truck’s driver was not injured in the crash and remained on scene.Marion County Sheriff’s deputies were seen working the crash scene alongside FHP troopers Saturday morning. The crash is still under investigation.
