The driver of a fully loaded tractor-trailer is facing charges after authorities say he crashed off a median while under the influence. A full-sized tractor-trailer was found by New Hampshire troopers in a muddy area of the center median on Interstate 95 in North Hampton early Friday morning.Authorities say Nathaniel Ray, of Lisbon Falls, was heading south when he lost control of his truck.The tractor-trailer left the road and went into the center median. According to investigators, the truck continued down the center median for around 500 feet before it hit delineator posts and getting stuck in deep mud.The crash caused a “substantial” amount of debris to be tossed into the travel lanes.At the scene, authorities say Ray showed signs of impairment and arrested him for driving under the influence. He has also been charged with felony reckless conduct, aggravated driving under the influence and criminal mischief.In addition, he faces citations for commercial motor vehicle operations.
