Lancaster city police are asking the public for help in searching for a truck driver involved in a Thursday evening hit-and-run motorcycle crash.
Police posted a home security video of a truck exiting Campbell Alley on the 500 block of Manor Street, near Reveron Electronics on W. King Street, around 7:48 p.m., before colliding with a motorcyclist who flew off his bike. Residents quickly came out to the street to tend to the cyclist on the ground as the truck driver slowly crept away from the scene.
The motorcyclist sustained moderate but not life-threatening injuries.
The video from the police shows a gray or white pickup truck with a blue driver side door and wooden fencing on the passenger side of the truck bed. Police say the first three letters of the license plate are ZMT.
Police are asking anyone with information to reach the department at 717-735-3318.
