BRECKSVILLE, Ohio
Property damage, Highland Drive: On Aug. 23, police were dispatched to a Highland Drive address regarding a property damage report.
An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said his Cleveland Clinic home healthcare delivery truck hit a mailbox.
The impact also damaged his truck’s side mirror. The mailbox was slightly dented.
The man admitted to being new to driving the van and still learning how far the mirrors extend out.
The officer passed on the driver’s information to the homeowner. No charges were filed.
Warrant, I-77: On Aug. 16, police observed a speeding Chrysler 300 traveling 84 mph southbound on I-77.
Also, the 300′s temporary license tag wasn’t readable due to the fact it was folded. The Warren driver told the officer she didn’t have a valid driver’s license or insurance.
More so, the officer learned the woman did have a few warrants. She was arrested and held for transport.
The passenger told the officer the Chrysler belonged to his sister. The problem was he had a suspended license.
The man was dropped off at a Richfield gas station. The vehicle was towed.
The woman was cited for speeding, driving with a suspended license and not having a license.
