A Port St. Lucie man heard the charges against him in his first appearance in front of a judge on Friday. Omar Sueque, 59, is accused of shooting a man on his Port St. Lucie property. He was charged with attempted homicide and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The judge ordered Sueque to have no contact with the victim. While he was granted a $105,000 bond on the aggravated battery charge, he was not given a bond for the attempted homicide charge. They never mentioned the person made personal threats against me,” he said. The 28-year-old survived the shooting. The attempted murder charge is punishable up to life in prison.
