Ontario-based Erb Group raised more than $20,000 for three community organizations through its 32nd annual Charity Golf Tournament, held in September at Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg, Ont.
The event brought together 130 employees, partners, and suppliers to support the Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre, Tri-County Mennonite Homes, and the Interfaith Counselling Centre.
To date, since its inception in 1994, the annual tournament has raised more than $600,000 for local causes.

This includes funds from this year’s event, which will help the organizations continue providing services such as food security programs, mental health support, and community community-building programs throughout the Waterloo Region.
“The generosity and spirit we see at this tournament every year truly represent what our company and industry are all about — people coming together to make a difference,” said Wendell Erb, CEO. “We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us and for helping us continue this meaningful tradition.”
As a family-owned carrier focused on delivering food to families’ tables, Erb Group said in a news release that the event reflects its values of community, care, and connection.
