Update: The left lane of I-65 is back open. The right lane and US 231 will remain closed. Due to the damage to the bridge, INDOT expects it remain this way for an extended period of time. Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
White County – I-65 southbound at US 231 (193 mile marker) is shut down due to a oversized load that has struck the overpass. Traffic is being diverted across US 231 and back onto I-65.
US 231 north and southbound is also shut down at that location. Use caution and seek an alternative route if possible.
