CEDAR CITY — Authorities have released the name of the box truck driver who was killed in a collision on Interstate 15 in Iron County early Thursday morning.

The deceased driver is 27-year-old Corey C. Brownlee of Waunakee, Wisconsin, the Utah Highway Patrol announced Monday morning.
As previously reported, the incident occurred at approximately 5:21 a.m. just south of the rest area at mile marker 88, near Paragonah.
Utah Highway Patrol said the commercial box truck had been heading southbound when the vehicle rolled for reasons unknown and ended up blocking both southbound lanes.
Another southbound driver, in a red semitractor-trailer, was reportedly unable to see the tipped-over box truck until the last moment.
“The driver of the semi attempted to miss the box truck but was unable to,” the Utah Highway Patrol statement said, noting that the semi impacted the box truck’s cab.
Brownlee died at the scene.
The incident caused the full closure of southbound I-15 between Exit 95 and Exit 82 for several hours, with traffic being rerouted onto the frontage road. Northbound traffic was not affected.
