DAT Freight & Analytics has launched Carrier Management Suite, a carrier-qualification system integrated directly into the DAT One load board. The tool allows freight brokers to determine which carriers can access their loads based on authority status, insurance, and other factors.
The Carrier Management Suite embeds vetting and authentication within the procurement process, DAT says in a news release, adding that the integration aims to reduce time spent screening unqualified carriers and improve matching efficiency.

The system’s qualification settings let brokers establish standards for carrier access to load posts. Those who don’t meet the requirements will see only limited information.
Meanwhile, the new company profiles expand upon DAT’s existing directory by consolidating business and safety information for each customer. They also give carriers the ability to present more detailed information about their services.
The suite will also incorporate insights from Trucker Tools. Brokers who need automated tracking and visibility will be able to search specifically for carriers on the Trucker Tools integrated ELD/telematics network. For carriers, insights about ELD status, tracking, and on-time delivery will be available in their company profile.
“Carrier Management Suite is philosophically and technologically different from other authentication systems on the market that require brokers to bounce among multiple systems and platforms, and can filter out carriers that might otherwise meet a broker’s needs,” Kary Jablonski, vice-president, Trucker Tools & Broker Growth at DAT, said in the release. “It eliminates inefficiencies and limitations of other approaches. Brokers can focus on qualified carriers, and carriers can focus on the freight they’re qualified to haul.”
Carrier Management Suite is available as an add-on to existing DAT One subscriptions.
