My name is Danny Craft and I humbly ask for your vote and your support on August 8, 2023. I am 60 years old and have lived in Simpson County all my life. I have been married to Jeannie Lisa Purser Craft for the past 42 years. We have two children, Dr. Jennifer Bain and her husband Jacob; and Kevin Craft and his wife Hollie. I have three handsome grandsons which light up my life and are my whole heart. My parents are Betty Craft and the late Bronson Craft. I am a Christian and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where I serve as a Deacon.
I was formerly employed at Georgia Pacific Plywood in Taylorsville, MS, for 32 years as an Electronic Technician; during this time I also owned and managed my poultry and cattle operations. After leaving Georgia Pacific, I owned and managed a trucking business.
I want to personally thank each of you for the honor and the privilege of serving you as your District 2 Supervisor for nearly eight years. I want you to know that I am just as dedicated to you now as I have ever been. Every day serving you and my community has been a blessing.
I will continue as I have in the past to be available to you with any questions or concerns. I have always been ready, willing, and able to take the necessary actions to get the results you need.
During my time in office I have never missed an opportunity for additional training and education. In doing so, I have learned county and state government inside and out. I have established lines of friendly communications with vendors and county/state representatives. This has enabled me to better serve you in making decisions based on the law, common sense, integrity, and honesty. I have the qualifications and experience that matters to continue with the progress – “Let’s Keep Moving Forward”.
I once again thank each and every one of you for your help and support. I am asking the citizens of District 2 to stay on board with me.
