TwoSommers says a U.S. bulk logistics company — American Bulk Commodities — has reduced its dispatch-to-cash cycle by two weeks after replacing its legacy systems with Bulk Office, a TwoSommers cloud-based transportation management platform.
According to the news release, American Bulk Commodities was struggling with manual dispatching without real-time visibility, paper-based billing prone to errors, slow driver settlements, and security limitations that restricted scalability.

Using its BulkOffice platform the carrier was able to transition to a cloud-native system with automated workflows and real-time integration. The modernization also lowered the carrier’s rebill rate to 2%, saved costs by eliminated third-party software tools, and expedited onboarding through electronic data interchange (EDI). The company added in the release the platform integration also led to company’s stronger compliance and security posture, and improved driver experience, leading to lower turnover rates.
The BulkOffice rollout included cloud-based applications for dispatching, billing, invoicing and settlements, real-time integration connecting drivers and brokers, automated billing, document processing and driver pay workflows, and multi-factor authentication with role-based access controls.
