Rubina Dilaik involved in car accident, husband Abhinav Shukla calls for strict action against ‘reckless truck driver’

Rubina Dilaik met with a car accident in Mumbai on Saturday. The actor, who hit her head and lower back in the accident, informed her fans that she was in a state of mental shock.

Television actor and Bigg Boss winner, Rubina Dilaik escaped a car accident in Mumbai on Saturday. She took to her Twitter account to provide her fans with a health update. She revealed that she hit her head and her lower back and was in a state of shock. However, she is fine now. She also revealed that an action has been taken against the truck driver who caused the accident.

Rubina’s actor-husband Abhinav Shukla called out the culprits involved in the accident on social media and also warned his fans about those who jump traffic signals.

Rubina tweeted, “Due to the impact I hit my head and lower back, so was in a state of shock, but we ran medical tests, everything is Good….Legal action has been taken against the reckless truck driver, but the damage is done! I urge you all to be mindful on road 🙏🏼 Rules r for our own safety !”

Fans on the internet wished Rubina a speedy recovery. One of the fans wrote, “Sending u love n prayers.” Another added, “Take care and wishing you speedy recovery.”

On Saturday, Abhinav shared photos showing the cars that got damaged in the accident. Along with the photos, he wrote, “Happened to us, can happen to you. Beware of idiots on the phone jumping traffic lights. To top it up standing there smiling. More details later. Rubina was in car she is fine, taking her for medical. @MTPHereToHelp @MumbaiPolice request you to take strict action! @RubiDilaik.”

The Mumbai Traffic Police reacted to Abhinav’s tweet and said, “Report the incident to the nearest police station of the place where the incident took place.”

Rubina, who rose to fame with ZEE TV’s show Choti Bahu, has also done shows like Jeannie Aur Juju, Punar Vivah and Shakti, among others. She won Bigg Boss 14, where she participated with her husband Abhinav. The two opened up about having marital issues, however, they managed to sort them all out in the show itself. Rubina also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. The couple also hosted the travel-based show Wanderlust together for MX Player.
