Gastonia police are searching for a driver who hit and killed a man earlier this month.
Investigators said on May 11, just before 10:15 p.m., 60-year-old David Bolin was hit and killed by someone driving a pickup truck. The crash happened on East Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia.

Police said Bolin died from his injuries.
Now, police are looking for the truck and its driver. The truck, which is likely a two-tone blue or silver vehicle, has damage on the driver’s door at the mirror. They shared video of it on social media on Friday.
Bolin’s nieces, Brenda and Lisa Self, are also searching for answers.
They learned that after the crash with the truck, another car accidentally hit him and that driver stopped.
The sisters told Channel 9 that Bolin lived in Blacksburg, South Carolina, and he didn’t own a car. They don’t know who brought him to Gastonia.
Bolin’s nieces said he has no connection to the city and police told them he appeared to be confused in the minutes before the collision.
“How can you just hit someone and leave them laying (there),” Lisa Self said. “Come forward, even if you didn’t mean to, if it was an accident. Come forward. His family deserves justice.”
