All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
FERRIDAY, La. (KTVE/KARD) — In January 2023, the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating an adult subject who was allegedly soliciting minors online for sex, using multiple different accounts and platforms. According to authorities, the subject concealed his identity by using false names and locations, stating that he was an over-the-road truck driver from Texas, frequently traveling through Louisiana.
The male subject allegedly engaged in sexual dialogue with the minor for months, even making plans to meet up when passing through the state. He was eventually positively identified as 48-year-old Albert Douglas Bingham and officials discovered that he was a truck driver from Canada. Warrants were obtained for his arrest and entered into NCIC.

In April 2024, detectives received information from Canadian Customs Agents that Bingham was boarding a plane bound for the United States. Upon landing, he was taken into custody without incident and was booked for Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.
