The driver of a tractor trailer sustained a minor injury after the vehicle was hit by a school bus on the New Jersey Turnpike, State Police said.
The crash was reported at 2:37 p.m. on the southbound side of the Turnpike near mile marker 40.1 in Mount Laurel, Burlington County. An investigation on the scene found that the school bus rear-ended the tractor trailer, officials said.
There were no injuries among the occupants of the bus, which was transporting students at the time of the crash, police said. It was not clear which school the bus was associated with.
The driver of the tractor trailer was brought to an area hospital for treatment of a minor injury, authorities said. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
