An 18-wheeler is leading authorities on a chase through Houston after the pursuit began in Montgomery County.

The Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office said the suspect was in custody in Fulshear at 4:15 p.m. on X, a social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
Authorities say the chase caused a crash at Falcon Landing around 4 p.m. Authorities advised the public to avoid the area.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office told KHOU the chase began when the Patton Village Police Department received a call about a tractor-trailer driving erratically.
The pursuit passed from Montgomery County through Harris County and continued into Fort Bend County, the sheriff’s office said.
