A fire that ripped through two barns west of London caused $5-million damage and killed hundreds of pigs, police say.
Emergency crews were called Saturday just before 8 p.m. to a property on Langan Drive in Adelaide Metcalfe, a Middlesex County community west of London, for a report of two barns fully engulfed in flames, Ontario Provincial Police said.

Police closed the road while firefighters battled the blaze, which killed 750 pigs, police said.
